HYDROSECURE

HydroSecure® was initially developed to protect senior government executives and mission critical facilities, such as embassies, operations centers, and executive residences. After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Department of Defense, the State Department, and the United States Secret Service collaborated to seek the best available system for water security. HydroSecure was selected through a competitive solicitation and thoroughly tested in government laboratories.

HydroSecure® demonstrated superior performance and effectiveness in a series of tests purifying water that was highly contaminated with a variety of biological and chemical agents designed to simulate the “maximum credible threat scenario”. The tested contaminants included biological and chemical warfare agents, industrial and agricultural chemicals, biological toxins, and hallucinogenic drugs. HydroSecure was also tested for reliability of performance and long-term sustainability in harsh operating conditions.

The government has allowed us to make this system available to the commercial market and it is now available for the first time in a new, compact design. This new patent-pending, design, the HydroSecure II® series, is your opportunity to have the same approach to post-9/11 drinking water security that the U.S. government selected to safeguard high profile individuals & installations throughout the U.S.

NEWTERRA

newterra is a global technology leader in the development of sustainable solutions for the treatment of wastewater, greywater and process water, as well as groundwater remediation, for industrial and municipal markets. In operation since 1992, newterra’s customers include Fortune 500 resource companies, major engineering consultants, industry, agriculture and food businesses, and small- to medium-sized municipalities.

newterra engineers, designs, manufactures and supports its innovative treatment systems, some of which operate in extreme conditions in the most remote areas on the planet. The collaboration of newterra’s research & development, design and manufacturing teams has allowed the company to pioneer our innovative MicroClear™ Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology, sound attenuated remediation systems for use in residential areas, and iron removal processes for groundwater treatment.

newterra is at the forefront of MBR technology and its use in a wide range of wastewater treatment applications. Membrane Bioreactors combine conventional activated sludge (CAS) treatment with a membrane liquid-solid separation process. Our MBR products are treating sewage to near-potable quality in thousands of systems worldwide. These include remote work camps for resource industries, decentralized systems for municipalities, resorts, and industrial and agricultural applications.

The core of newterra MBR wastewater treatment systems is our patented MicroClear membrane. These units are submerged directly into the wastewater and filtrate (filtered water) is drawn through and out of the membrane by a slight negative pressure. Solids, bacteria, parasites and viruses remain in the bioreactor to be digested by bacteria or settle as sludge. newterra MBRs eliminate the need for the final stages of conventional wastewater treatment plants, including clarification and filtration.

At newterra, our depth of experience in water-related solutions includes the provision of potable water systems. Our engineering team will integrate the filtration, storage, pumping, flow measurement, disinfection, electrical, and instrumentation and control/telemetry systems to meet your specific requirements. Our systems can be skid mounted or configured into a enclosure.
newterra potable water systems employ safe, proven treatment technologies including conventional and membrane filtration and ultraviolet disinfection – all designed to meet stringent drinking water quality standards. Talk to us about your water needs.

SECCUA

Seccua is a global technology leader in the field of standardized, packaged ultrafiltration
systems for process and drinking water. Bacteria, viruses, Legionella and parasites;
turbidity, colloids and coloration due to iron can be effectively removed from drinking water
without the addition of chemicals.

More than10 years of experience in the field of ultrafiltration have culminated in systems
with proprietary control systems incorporating automatic membrane integrity testing, data
logging and remote monitoring and control. Our certified module manufacturing enables us
to offer custom sized UF modules to OEM’s, and our system manufacturing is capable of
producing over 1,500 systems annually.

Based in Steingaden, near Munich, Germany, and Surprise, Arizona, Seccua has installed
over 400 ultrafiltration systems for residential, commercial and small-systems municipal
applications. Products from Seccua are primarily aimed at local water supplies and
industrial water treatment.

These compact systems can filter up to 30,000 liters of water an
hour (132 GPM), and are easy and inexpensive to install and operate. They are fully
automated and require low maintenance. They are ideal for places and areas not connected
to central water supplies, but are also widely applied in industrial treatment processes that
need full removal of pathogens and suspended solids.

The flagship in Seccua's product range is the Virex Pro system. This intelligent filtration
system can purify up to a maximum of 3,900 litres of water an hour (18 GPM). It
automatically detects how badly contaminated the filter is and automatically carries out
cleaning processes at the appropriate intervals, if required with automated chemical
enhancement. The control unit independently adjusts the interval between filter cleans, as
well as the length of each filter clean, depending on the water quality, thereby ensuring
simple operation and optimized running costs. The Virex Pro and Phoenix systems also
feature an integrated membrane integrity test:

The membrane filters used are regularly and independently checked for damage. In the
event of a membrane fault, the system is stopped automatically and triggers an alarm locally
and remotely. Thanks to this innovation, the removal of pathogenic organisms from the
drinking water and a constant high quality of water can be assured. Seccua is the world
market leader for this patented technology.
