SkyBuilt Power and ElectroChemistry, a leader in high efficiency potable water production, have created a rapidly deployable, highly mobile water purification system powered by renewable energy. The SkyWater System provides clean, potable water for FOBs while reducing fuel, logistics, and operating costs. The SkyWater System combines SkyBuilt’s SkyTrailer™, a mobile platform and renewable energy supply, with ElectroChemistry’s Rigby Process for potable water production.

ElectroChemistry's Potable Water System Features
The mobile water solution utilizes standard off-the-shelf components to produce potable and palatable water from any water source at efficiencies exceeding all other potable water treatment methods. Advantages are:
  • Rapidly Potable Water Production—Designed to produce 80 gph of potable and palatable water that meets Safe Drinking Water Act standards
  • Many Treatment Capabilities—Simultaneously treats and removes algae, bacteria, suspended solids, radionuclides, heavy metals, and toxic organic compounds
  • Low Power Need—Electrical consumption = 0.8kW/gpm; 1 kW-h/100 gal + pump requirements.
  • Scalable—Can be directly scaled down to a single man per day or greater capacity
  • Low Maintenance and Ease of Use—Maintenance includes periodic replacement of bag filters and treatment electrodes and draining and flushing of units
  • Highly Mobile—Mountable on standard military vehicles, skids, containers, etc.

PCI manufactures ruggedized onsite liquid and gaseous oxygen and nitrogen generators for a variety of markets; including Military, Medical, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Industrial, and Oil & Gas markets.

PCI was founded in 1984 to manufacture cryogenic air separation devices for operation in extreme and remote environments. Since then, PCI has continually expanded its technology platforms to include membrane and adsorption (VSA) technology.

We have built thousands of systems that are actively operating and supported in over 25 countries worldwide. Our products enable our customers to produce oxygen and nitrogen at the point of use, effectively eliminating the logistical supply chain associated with delivered product.

Deployable Water Purification Solution (DeWS) is a self contained Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System with comprehensive one-touch automation, reducing the need for operator attention.

Expeditionary Unit Water Purification Systems
The 100,000 gallon (380 m3) per day EUWP is an Expeditionary Unit Water Purification System capable of supplying potable water from virtually any water source, including NBC contaminated sources. The expeditionary configuration of the EUWP is ideal for meeting both civilian and military operational needs such as nation building, stability and support operations, humanitarian aid, disaster relief, homeland security and homeland defense missions.

The EUWP consists of two separate ISO configured platforms that are compatible with commercial transportation and material handling equipment. It is also compatible with the Military’s HEMTT-LHS trucks, Palletized Load System trucks, and military line haul aircraft. A team of four trained operators can have the EUWP set up within 6 hours and it can operate unattended for extended periods. A network connection will allow the system to be monitored and/or operated remotely.

The EUWP uses ultrafiltration (UF) to produce over 250,000 gallons (950per day of potable water from a fresh water source and reverse osmosis (RO) to produce over 100,000 gallons per day from a seawater source.
The EUWP utilizes a double pass RO configuration to produce potable water when treating an NBC contaminated source.

The Sunspring™ is a solar powered, portable, self-contained water purification system that provides an opportunity to have clean water in more remote sites and areas of developing nations not currently serviced with water treatment. Here in the United States, the Sunspring™ can provide clean, safe water in locations such as parks and campgrounds, and has countless other applications.
Businesses and small communities in remote locations in the USA and around the world can now take advantage of the same membrane technology used by large-scale water treatment plants in a compact, self-contained alternative energy design.
The Sunspring™ provides high-quality potable water by physically removing pathogens, particulates and turbidity from virtually any water source. The Sunspring™ is a microbiological water purifier that is self-cleaning, efficient and easy to maintain.
  • Utilizes solar power and can be used in remote locations, all around the world.
  • Significantly blocks and removes pathogens, particulates and turbidity from water supplies. (contact manufacturer for specific claims and test data)
  • Significantly reduces colloids, turbidity, and organics (contact manufacturer for specific claims and test data)
  • Utilizes the same membrane technology chosen by large-scale water filtration plants
  • Effectively treats groundwater, surface-water, recycled rain water or cistern water
  • Automated backwash cycle for ultrafiltration
  • Requires minimal water pressure to operate efficiently
  • Self-contained pressure pump
  • Pre-filtration
  • Customization available – options include R.O., chlorination, deep-well pumps, wind turbines, etc.
  • Self-contained enclosure
  • Patent pending

Mobile, independent unit for disaster relief & military application

The Trunz Water Trailer is equipped with a solar powered TWS 200 water treatment system or a TSS 200/TBS 200 desalination system. It is complete and ready to deploy. It provides approx. 250 - 900 l of clean drinking water per hour from any water source. Powered by solar and/or wind energy it can run up to 24 hours a day, without ongoing fuel and fuel transportation costs. The system is complete with trailer, feed pump, automatic back flushing filtration, batteries, solar panels and controls. An Ultrafiltration membrane removes all virus and bacteria without requiring toxic chemical treatment. Alternatively we supply an Reverse Osmosis-System for brackish or saltwater. The Trunz Water Trailer is specially designed to work under harsh conditions and is ideal for disaster relief, military camps and supply during temporary drinking water shortage. The system is very compact, easy to install and to maintain.
